This policy explains how Klantroef (“we”, “us”) handles personal data through KT Analytics. KT Analytics is our internal social media analytics and management tool at reports.klantroef.com, used only by authorized Klantroef team members.

Data we receive from Meta through KT Analytics
KT Analytics connects to Facebook, Instagram, and Threads through Meta’s APIs. We receive data only after an authorized user connects an account and grants permission. Depending on the permissions granted, we may receive:
- Account details: name, Meta user ID, and the permissions granted
- Profile details: Facebook Page, Instagram, and Threads IDs, names, usernames, and profile images
- Access tokens: credentials that let us connect to the accounts you authorize
- Content: posts, reels, stories, captions, media links, permalinks, and timestamps
- Performance data: reach, views, engagement, reactions, clicks, and follower counts
- Audience data: aggregated country, city, age, and gender information
- Comments and replies: comments and replies on connected accounts, including the commenter’s name or username
- Direct messages: Facebook and Instagram messages sent to connected accounts, including the sender’s name or username
How we use Meta data
We use this data only to:
- Connect and maintain the accounts you authorize
- Show analytics, dashboards, and reports to authorized Klantroef team members
- Publish and schedule content created or approved by our team
- Read and respond to comments and messages on connected accounts
- Keep the service secure, fix problems, and meet legal obligations
We do not sell Meta data. We do not use it for advertising or to build profiles of individuals.
How we share data
We share data only:
- With authorized Klantroef team members who need it for their work
- With hosting providers that store and run KT Analytics for us
- With Meta when needed to carry out an action we request through its APIs
- When required by law or needed to protect our rights, users, or service
- As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or equivalent protections
KT Analytics is not offered to outside users. Our hosting providers may use the data only to provide their services to us.
How long we keep data

How to delete your data
You can remove KT Analytics’ access or ask us to delete your data in any of these ways:
- In KT Analytics: Authorized team members can go to Integrations and disconnect the account. This revokes our access and removes the stored access tokens.
- On Facebook: Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites, then remove KT Analytics.
- On Instagram or Threads: Open the app’s account settings, find its website or app permissions, then remove KT Analytics.
- By email: Send a request with the subject “Data Deletion Request” to info@klantroef.com. Include your name and the affected account or Page.
Removing access stops future data collection. To delete data we already hold, email us. We will delete it within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it. We may need to verify your identity or authority over the account first.
If your data appears in a connected account
If you interact with an account connected to KT Analytics, authorized Klantroef team members may see your public information or messages through the tool. You can email us with a request about your data.
Security
We encrypt access tokens at rest and encrypt data in transit. We also limit access to the people and systems that need it. No online service can guarantee complete security.
Where data is processed
We process data in India and wherever our hosting infrastructure is located. When data moves across borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data. You may also be able to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority.
To make a request, email info@klantroef.com. We may keep data when the law requires it or when it is needed for administrative, legal, or security reasons.
Children
KT Analytics is not intended for anyone under 18. If you believe we hold a child’s personal data, contact us and we will delete it as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will take any additional steps the law requires.
